University Cooperation in the Face of New Challenges for Sustainable Development

April 21–23, 2022-Capacity-building, Science Diplomacy and Open Science in North-South Relations in the New Global Context

The 7th Conference of the CUCS network (University Coordination for Development Cooperation, comprising 30 Italian universities) is jointly organized by the University of Naples “Federico II” and the University “L’Orientale”, and will be held in Naples at the locations mentioned above from April 21 to 23, 2022.

This conference originates from the academic world, with particular attention to young people and students, and is aimed at all actors involved in international cooperation. It seeks to facilitate network-building, mutual exchange, the synthesis of experiences and ideas, the development of innovation, and the dissemination of knowledge through the mechanisms and procedures of Open Science. The goal is for the Global North and South to jointly address the challenges of sustainability in cities, land and food, climate and health, oceans and inland waters, energy, and more, within the new multipolar global context and the framework of Industry 4.0 during and after the pandemic era.
